N. Kendall J. Hirai is a tropical lily created by Garet Uemura. It was hybridized in 1998 (Mr. Martin E. Randig x Ruby). Bright rose-pink flower with approximately 16 broad petals. Leaves are speckled maroon on the top and mottled red below.  Leaf lobes overlap.  Moderately - slightly viviparous.

Named in honor of Kendall Hirai of Honolulu, Hawaii.
